2023 Thank You Mark and Shane

The club would like to thank Mark Hilhorst and Shane Cope for their huge efforts coaching our 1st team over the last 7 seasons in the CCL and CPL.

This has been a lengthy involvement with 2 great guys who have progressed our 1st Mens team well forward.

Two stellar years in 2019 and 2020 the team finished in 2nd place, a top achievement.

Over this time we also had the Covid years and they helped the club work through this.

We wish Mark and Shane all the very best going forward and hope to catch you around the football grounds sometime.

2021 Annual General Meeting

The 2021 AGM for the club occurred on 1 November. Thanks to all who attended.

Congratulations to Nicola Danielson who is our new Junior Club Captain. All the best to her in this position.

We would like to thank the outgoing Junior Club Captain Don MacDonald for his sterling service in the position for the last 17 years (2004 to 2021). Don is continuing on the Committee.

The club has re-appointed the following coaches for the 2021 Senior Mens team who play in the Canterbury Championship League:

• Mark Hilhorst - Coach
• Shane Cope - Manager.

CCL Reserves coaches are Mark Tolchard and Paul Auld.

50th Year Jubilee

The 50th year Jubilee for Burwood AFC occured in 2020. A number of events were held over Easter weekend this year. See our 50 Year page for more information.​​​​​​​
